What’s happening: On Saturday 24 January 2026, works will be carried out between 8:00am and 12:00pm to support emergency lighting compliance inspections.
Areas affected: All areas of the building will be impacted for a period of approximately three to four hours.
What to expect: During this time, there will be little to no office or communal lighting available. Emergency lighting will remain operational throughout the works.
Access during the works: Access to the building will be partially restricted. Where possible, we strongly recommend avoiding the centre during this period.
Should access be required, members are advised to: Work near desk lamps, where available, carry torches or personal lighting if moving around the space. Our EH team will be on site throughout the works to facilitate access and ensure safety.
Why this work is important: This testing is required to meet statutory emergency lighting compliance and safety regulations.
